Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement for the online service Bondex

This accessibility statement applies to the digital service Bondex and was published on 17 June 2026. The accessibility assessment is based on a self-evaluation and an external audit conducted by an expert organization.

Objective
We strive to make our digital services accessible to all users, regardless of their disabilities. In this statement, we describe the current accessibility status, known issues, and how you can provide feedback.

Accessibility Status
The service partially complies with the accessibility requirements as set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, levels A and AA.

Inaccessible Content
The following elements do not yet meet the established accessibility requirements. We aim to resolve the main issues before December 17, 2026.

Header
• Mobile navigation is not accessible via the keyboard; focus jumps directly to hidden links. The status (collapsed/expanded) is not announced. The accessible name is unclear. (WCAG 2.4.3, 4.1.2)
• The roles of the wishlist and search elements are not descriptive. (WCAG 4.1.2)
• The email field does not use the autocomplete attribute correctly. (WCAG 1.3.5)
• The search instruction is located in an illogical place. (WCAG 1.3.2)

Footer
• The role of the consent choice element is not descriptive. (WCAG 4.1.2)

General issues
• Some elements have no visible keyboard focus. (WCAG 2.4.7)
• The defined language of the service does not always match the language of the content. (WCAG 3.1.2)
• Content disappears when minimizing the window. (WCAG 1.4.10)

Other known issues
• Some links are unclear to users of assistive technology. (WCAG 2.4.4)
• The search field only gets its accessible name via the placeholder. (WCAG 4.1.2)
• Filter options receive incorrect focus. (WCAG 2.4.3)
• Search result links are not implemented correctly. (WCAG 2.4.4)
• Focus does not move to newly loaded content after clicking “Load more”. (WCAG 2.4.3)
• Keyboard focus is only indicated by color. (WCAG 1.4.1)
